Purpose Of This Ministry

The purpose of this ministry is found in 2 Corinthians 5:18-21:

Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

This ministry seeks to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ in everything. We are are not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ therefore we declare this Gospel in the highways and biways. We preach about sin, righteousness, and the coming judgment to a lost and dying world. Since Jesus' mission was to "seek and save that which was lost", this too is our mission, being empowered by the Holy Spirit whom He has given to all those who believe.

On this site you will find several resources we believe are honoring to our Lord. We hope these resources will help you take up your cross and follow Jesus - they have definitely helped us. We hope you find our site to be both a blessing and an encouragment.

I pray that the sharing of your faith may become effective for the full knowledge of every good thing that is in us for the sake of Christ. -Philemon 1:6

Great Story Part 2

Praise to our Great God and Savior, we don't deserve it but sometimes God shows us the fruit of our labor...for that I am thankful! Please read...

I mentioned in a few blogs about a young man named "Tim". When I first met him on the streets a year ago he was a self-proclaimed satanist. When I first approached him he was very adamant that he wanted nothing to do with my "religious message". He even said "we have nothing in common". A few hours later he approached me and we talked for almost 2 hours about my faith in God.

A year later I ran into him again, this time things were much different. He approached me and talked about how our first conversation really had an effect on him. He had many more questions, and again we talked for almost 2 hours. He was very thankful both for our willingness to share our message out on the streets and for our willingness to talk with him for so long. Before he left, I gave him my bible and we exchanged emails/phone numbers. I sent him an email several weeks ago and I have not received a response until this morning. Below is the email he sent me:

Hey Steve,
Sorry this took so long to get back to you....I've been busy trying to find a job. So yeah, I'm o.k. just trying to straighten out my life.....and make things better for myself. As for getting together to talk about things.....i might have to take a rain check for at least a couple of weeks...

I'd just like to say thanks again for talking to me again, and even more for inviting me out to lunch, and also for the Bible you gave me. I've read only two pages.....but I am more than just reading them....I am trying to decipher them and find the meanings behind the words.
So thanks again, and drop me a line sometime and we can talk or hang out or whatever.

Please pray for "Tim's" soul...God wishes no man to perish (2 Peter 3:9)

Preach the Gospel in season and out of season...
Steve
